Current Projects
Walking Bear Productions is constantly evolving, constantly growing and learning how we can serve our community better. Visit this page frequently to see what projects we’re crafting right now:
Petaluma Historical Museum
WBP is currently assisting the Petaluma Historical Museum with several living history interviews to preserve the oral history of many long time Petaluma residents. 2008 marks the city’s Sesquicentennial (150th) birthday and the Museum is stepping up its efforts to use digital media to preserve our local oral histories. We are assisting with full production services and will post links to these local stories as projects are completed.
Projects currently in Production, continuing throughout 2008.
Daily Acts
Daily Acts is a local Petaluma nonprofit devoted to ‘reclaiming the richness of all life through each of our daily acts’. WBP will partner with Daily Acts to document many of their Sustainability Tours & Workshops, featuring topics focused around water conservation, local food systems, and green design and building. We plan to provide Daily Acts with streaming media for their website and will partner with them on a podcast and full DVDs capturing their many and abundant events.
Currently in Pre-Production. Production anticipated to start in Spring 2008.
Friends of the Petaluma River
WBP founder Jaimey Walking Bear has felt a deep and long standing connection with the spiritual and ecological properties of water - in coastal ocean environments and fresh water, riparian ecosystems, and the river ecosystems that connect the two.
We are currently working in partnership with Friends of the Petaluma River, a local advocacy and education non-profit in our community. Friends’ mission is to inspire education and enjoyment of our tidal slough, the Petaluma River.
We just finished a promotional video to help Friends with fundraising and outreach efforts. Next our focus turns to production of a library of educational videos that explore different themes related to the river’s ecology, biology and natural history.

Currently brainstorming a Speaker’s Presentation Kit and supplemental classroom curriculum.
3M
WBP is set to contract with our local 3M manufacturing facility here in Petaluma; partnering with them to create a pair of safety orientation videos for visitors to the plant.
